Save recent RSS feed items from the last three days to Google Sheets

Checks your RSS feeds daily and keeps a running sheet of only the stories from the last three days.

How the work actually flows

A straight line. Runs once per each rss feed.

The problem it solves

Keeping up with a list of news feeds means opening each one separately and losing track of what's actually recent. Old, stale entries pile up and bury the stories you still need to see.

Who it fits

Anyone monitoring multiple news or blog feeds for current updates.

How it works

  1. It reads your list of feed links from a Google Sheet
  2. It checks each feed and pulls only the entries published in the last three days
  3. New recent entries are added to a second Google Sheet
  4. Anything older than three days is removed from that sheet automatically
What you get

Fresh stories from the last three days only

You get a running spreadsheet of only the freshest stories from every feed you follow, automatically cleaned up after three days.

What you get

A Google Sheet that always shows just the current, relevant feed items.

What you need

A Google account.

We can build this. But should you?

The hard question is not how to build it. It is whether this is the right thing to build first.

That is what a Fractional Chief AI Officer figures out with you, before anyone writes a line of code.
