Ideas
The one-stop shop as an organizational form. With Fimreite, Moseley, and Pedersen, he showed welfare one-stop shops in three countries arising through mergers aimed at a single entrance to services, and differing in tasks, participants, instruments, and autonomy, in configurations partly the product of compromises and negotiations shaped by central government's political and performance priorities; by offering users ICT-based services, the shops could to some extent keep specialization behind the frontline. Caveat: Three national cases; adaptation, not outcomes.
