Ideas
Simple organizations with complex jobs. With den Hertog and Dankbaar, de Sitter set out Integral Organizational Renewal, a Dutch variant of sociotechnical systems design whose essence is to turn complex organizations offering simple jobs into simple organizations offering complex jobs, usable both as an expert approach and as a route to self-design. Caveat: Conceptual and grounded in Dutch practice. Read in its abstract only.
In this section, “read” means read by the Organizational Structures series: where a line says a work, or part of one, was not read, the series did not read it.
