Known for

A linguist who, with Richard Bandler, created neuro-linguistic programming. With Judith DeLozier he described three perceptual positions for viewing an interaction: from your own point of view, from the other person's, and from that of a detached observer.

Caveat: Neuro-linguistic programming is widely regarded as pseudoscience; perceptual positions are a perspective-taking exercise, not a tested finding.
