The conditions that make work teams effective
Ideas
Conditions for team effectiveness. Leaders shape team performance less by direct intervention than by setting conditions for it: a real team, a compelling direction, an enabling structure, a supportive context, and expert coaching. Caveat: The five conditions are the book's own chapter headings, read in its contents, in passages of the book, and in Baumgarten's 2003 review.
In this section, “read” means read by the Organizational Structures series: where a line says a work, or part of one, was not read, the series did not read it.
