Virtuality and information sharing. With DeChurch and colleagues, Mesmer-Magnus meta-analyzed 94 studies and found that virtuality improves the sharing of unique information but hinders open sharing, that open sharing matters more to virtual teams' performance, and that low virtuality helps information sharing while high virtuality hinders it. Caveat: Team level, not the organization as a whole.
