A cross-cultural researcher who joined Geert Hofstede and Gert Jan Hofstede on the 2010 third edition of Cultures and Organizations. That edition added a sixth dimension, indulgence versus restraint, drawn from his research.
Caveat: Hofstede's national scores have been criticized for treating national averages as if they described individuals and organizations, and for the narrow original IBM sample.
