Project-based organizing
Ideas
The P-form corporation. The project-based form is a permanent configuration suited to integrating knowledge in complex products and systems, and at Asea/ABB it passed through four project epochs as market and technological complexity rose. Caveat: One corporation.
Knowledge governance strategies. With Pemsel and Müller, identified six knowledge governance strategies across 20 project-based organizations. Caveat: A study of 20 project-based organizations, read in its abstract only; it relates the strategies to knowledge processes, not to performance.
In this section, “read” means read by the Organizational Structures series: where a line says a work, or part of one, was not read, the series did not read it.
