With Colin Eden she wrote Making Strategy, a guide to strategy making that stresses political feasibility, participation, and stakeholder management. The book sets out the power and interest grid that sorts stakeholders into players, subjects, context setters, and the crowd.
Caveat: The grid is older than the book: Aubrey Mendelow's 1981 conference paper is its usual origin, and Eden and Ackermann gave it the four named quadrants.
