Ideas
Kyocera's amoebas. With Adler, described Kyocera as thousands of small, customer-focused business units, each operating independently and working out its own dealings with other amoebas. Caveat: A practitioner article. Only the open part of the article was read.
Amoebas and ambidexterity. With Adler and Suzuki, compared the performance management of amoeba management and organizational ambidexterity, arguing that earlier work conflated the two. Caveat: A conceptual review, with no new data. Read in its abstract only.
In this section, “read” means read by the Organizational Structures series: where a line says a work, or part of one, was not read, the series did not read it.
