Process-based organization in hospitals. With Kuntz, found in the hospitals of one German state that a high degree of process-based organization had a moderate but significant positive effect on efficiency. Caveat: A survey of the hospitals of one German state, read in its abstract only; structure was self-reported by chief executives, and the outcome is efficiency, not quality of care.
