Developed by Bernd Rohrbach (Kreativ nach Regeln: Methode 635, 1969).
Has six people each write three ideas in five minutes, then pass their sheets on to build on one another's ideas, producing a large pool in about thirty minutes.
When to reach for it
When a group needs many ideas fast and open brainstorming keeps rewarding the loudest voices.
How it runs
- Seat six people, each with a sheet of three columns.
- Have each person write three ideas in five minutes.
- Pass every sheet to the next person.
- Read the ideas above, and add three more.
- Repeat until each sheet is full.
- Cluster the ideas for review.
